Ospringe follows the Canterbury Diocesan planning for Religious Education and this has a high profile and is an important part of our curriculum. We follow the Kent Agreed Syllabus alongside Understanding Christianity, ensuring children gain a strong understanding of Christian beliefs as well as knowledge of a wide range of other religions and world views. Through engaging lessons, thoughtful discussions and meaningful experiences, pupils learn to reflect, ask questions and appreciate the beliefs and values held by others. Our RE teaching supports children in developing respect, curiosity and understanding, helping them grow as confident and compassionate members of our school community.
